I have always been skeptical about mechanical broadheads. I went from the G5 Montec CS to the Deadmeat. Tested several times and seem to be ok. The BMP does fly as same as the broadheads.
I really like the locking collar / retainer for the blades. It is much easier than the old T3 system.
My review is strictly from shooting in the back yard. Looking forward to testing them out in the field in October.

After several years of using G5's T3 broadhead with much success, I wanted to try the new Deadmeat version. I shot a cow elk at 53 yards at a slight quartering away angle last weekend. The shot entered slightly farther back than I prefer, but due to the quartering away angle the shot exited just behind the opposing shoulder severing the liver and opposite lung. She only went 150 yards before staggering and piling up. These broadheads are extremely sharp resulting in blood pouring from the exit and entrance wound leaving what I call a 'double' blood trail to follow. Thank you G5 for another excellent product.

I just received 2 packs of the DM Broadheads. They came packaged very well. Super sharp strait out of the package. I have had a chance to shoot the BMP practice points and they fly right on with my field points. I'm very excited to hunt with these bad boys out in Wyoming this yr!!
